Ortiz was born in Huntington Beach and moved to Santa Ana, California. Ortiz is half Mexican from his paternal lineage. His father was Sam Ortiz and he gave the name Tito. Both of his parents were addicts to heroin and this made it hard for him to develop. He was a member of groups. He also took cocaine and other substances. When he was a kid the teen was taken to the juvenile halls. At the age of 13years old, the parents split up. He attended Huntington Beach High School, where he was a wrestler. At the age of 18 years old, his mother exiled him. Paul Herrera encouraged Ortiz to continue wrestling and attend college. He then got married for 5 years to Kristin his first wife. Then, he started an affair with Jenna Jameson. The couple had twins. They have since divorced. Amber Nichole Miller is currently in a relationship with Tito Ortiz.
