Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor and film star born on January 31 1937 and passed away on January 19, 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and was a part of films in the 1950s and later. Later, she appeared in films that were notable, such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). In later years, she was a part of numerous television shows and was frequently as a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978, which earned her numerous Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January 1937. The parents of the couple were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer, who performed under the stage name of Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director for the Paramount Theater, Manhattan, as well as the Paramount Theater, Brooklyn.
